About the Foundation

Our centres are in Palavakkam, Chennai (headquarters) and Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh. Programs serve learners and communities across Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.

Donations
How can I donate to support education?
Donations are arranged directly with the Foundation — write to dhrishtaeducation@gmail.com or call +91 91000 44339 and we will share bank details and issue a receipt. We do not process payments on the website.
Are donations to Dhrishta tax deductible?
Dhrishta is 80G-eligible, so Indian donors can claim the deduction available under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act. You receive a formal receipt for every donation.
How are donations used?
78 paise of every rupee goes directly to programmes — books, teachers, learning materials and running the centres. The full allocation breakdown is published in the Transparency section, and our finances are reviewed annually.
Can I sponsor a child's education?
Yes. Contact us at dhrishtaeducation@gmail.com and we will match your support to a learner's real needs — books, materials, and teaching time — and keep you informed of the impact.
Can companies partner with Dhrishta for CSR?
Yes — as a registered Section-8 non-profit we partner with companies on CSR programs in education and skill development across Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. Write to us to discuss a program aligned with your CSR goals.
